Smartphone app provides insights into cannabis impairment, but don’t rely on it in court

UBC alumna Sarah Leamon wrote an article in the Georgia Straight about DRUID, an app that claims to help users test for impairment by drugs, including cannabis.

Leamon, who holds a masters of arts in women’s studies from UBC, says that DRUID has limitations. It cannot be used as a legal test and will not stand up in a court of law.
