Why high-altitude trips affect heart functioning

International Business Times mentioned UBC in an article about research into heart functioning at high altitudes.

Researchers from UBC’s Okanagan campus, Cardiff Metropolitan University, and the Loma Linda University School of Medicine examined how the heart and pulmonary blood vessels respond to environments with less oxygen.
